A Renovation of a sixty-year-old, three-storey warehouse building to provide a permanent home for the school of Interior Design. The building was completely gutted back to the original structure and rebuilt to present standards with all new mechanical and electrical systems. The original heavy timber and brick construction was retained and refurbished as were the existing hardwood floors. All the mechanical and electrical services were exposed to view and used as a teaching tool. The resulting interiors have a warmth and character appropriate to the teaching of interior design students.
