Foscarini Tress Lamp – the suspension version
We already told you about Foscarini Tress Lamp ; now we want to tell you about its suspension version, recently presented on Euroluce 2009 in Milan. This time designer Marc Sadler changed the design a bit by reducing the height and displaying only the upper part of the lamp, according to its new installation. The materials however are the same as in the floor Foscarini Tress Lamp – interwoven fabrics wrapped up in a tubular shape. The lamp comes in three colors: black, red and white. Grouped together or used separately, these lamps create beautiful light effects and are perfect for large spaces.
Nika Zupanc for Vertigo Bird: Force Lamp and Boys Lamp
Slovenian lighting brand Vertigo Bird has branded new additions to its catalogue thanks to Ljubljana designer Nika Zupanc. The Force Lamp and Boys Lamp are her latest creations, both wearing the sign of her fresh creative vision.
Force Lamp is a hanging light created in epoxy and steel. Almost one meter in diameter, spectacular and eye-catching, it would best fit in open and airy space.
Boys Lamp brings us back to childhood and boys toys with little shiny parts and screws. The little screw on the side serves to regulate the height of the lampshade and the width of the light beam respectively.
