A lovely bedroom is what every child is dream of. His or her own place should be cool, nice and happy. Besides it should be able to serve as a relaxing sleeping area and as a study room. There are three kinds of them: ones that are better for girls, ones for boys and universal ones. Mostly that depends on color theme. Theme that was chosen is colorful. ConCommercial spaces are becoming more creative and flamboyant in making impressive statements with interior decor. Providing a totally unique and memorable experience for customers should definitely inspire return visitors. While the gift shop below is full of ornate and colorful products, the cleverest thing the design folks did was keep the color on the shelves and jazz up the white walls with some good ol’ black marker! There is great detail in the dramatic trim, crown molding, borders and miscellaneous wall art that have created a modern old world feel. The tables are spruces with a few candelabra, and the cubic chandeliers are simply genius.

How do you reckon an interior designer’s home looks like? Nothing less than super stylish or uber cool. This one particularly is at its innovative best. Bravo to the way the designer has tossed convention aside and designed the entire place for very personal taste. According to the designer, her house is small and manages to fit in her husband, two kids and four pets. Her space management is an attention grabber and might as well serve as solution for people with space similar as hers.

She has smartly planned her kitchen, the kid’s room, garage and her office space. The white stained floors with a shiny gloss finish make them easy to clean and wipe. Being white, they do get dirty quickly but the light they provide is worth all the cleaning up. When it comes to colours she has left not a single one untouched. Her magenta painted doors are an eye-candy. Her accessorised study will surely inspire and be an object of envy for many. The burst of colours juxtaposed with the striking white spaces is so refreshing you would want to run out to the hardware and fabric store right away and get working with your own space.

The house is eclectic makes you drool with inspiration and zap it right to where you are!

The Pop Design challenge was to style a room using Jonathan Adler’s products. I could do this one in my sleep, as I want at least half of his collection and I worship him. I was really disappointed in the result of this challenge, as I had a favorite who was not the winner. However, my favorite moment was when India called Jonathan “short.”
