royal marine tripod 1 lighting

Add a vintage nautical feel to your home with this floor lamp, a reproduction of a British surveyor’s tripod. Made by solid wood and solid cast aluminum parts, the tripod is a perfect solution if you’re seeking an eye-catching piece of lighting. Royal Marine Tripod is quite flexible – it features a machine-turned gear mechanism, a handle for adjusting the telescopic tripod base and a lamp head with white Flare shade that can be positioned up or down. To enjoy this exquisite lamp in your living-room you’ll need a 150W max. bulb and $ 1,250. Also check out this article on how to make a lampshade.

Wow with Lighting

Lately I'm enamored by light fixtures of all kinds.  Especially since I now sell lighting on this blog. This chandelier in Elle Decor caught my eye. It adds a special touch to a monochromatic room.  The impact of lighting in a space should never be underestimated. Light fixtures allow lighting to be layered.  Start with a striking overhead fxture, move to a floor lamp or table lamp and finish the lighting plan with a  wall sconce or small accent lamp.  If you have questions on how to wow with lighting....email me.
